Phelps Community Center Day Care Center
The Phelps Community Center is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of its new child day care center, scheduled for Fall 2008. The center, which will initially be open to three and four year olds, will operate Monday through Friday from 6AM-6PM. It is our goal to provide your child with a high quality, learning friendly, family environment.
Children attending the PCC day care center will take part in the following activities:
- Use of a full gymnasium
- Weekly visits to the Phelps Community Memorial Library (housed in the same building)
- Pre-school appropriate creative dance classes with PCC’s Fitness Coordinator
- Walking field trips to Phelps attractions such as the Historical Society and Community Arts Center
- And much, much more.
In addition to all of the above activities Phelps Community Center and Country Kids Pre-School (housed in the same building) offer the option of your child attending the Pre-School and the day care center for a special price.
PCC is currently accepting applications to reserve a space in the day care center.
Parents are encouraged to call 548-8484 for more information or to schedule a tour of the new PCC Day Care Center.
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center at PCC has a variety of both cardio and weight training equipment. In addition the center offers group fitness classes and has a Certified Personal Trainer on staff. Our trainer is available to assist members with all of their fitness needs at no additional charge.
We offer individual, husband and wife, and family rates for both residents of Phelps and non-residents. Children aged 12 and up are welcome to use the facility under the supervision of their parent or guardian. .

PCC is fully certified and licensed to care for children ages 5-9 and 10-12. The School Age Program runs throughout the school year and provides care before school, beginning at 6 AM, after school, until 6 PM and during half-days and recess days.
Children attending the PCC School Age Program take part in the following activities:
- Quiet time to study
- Use of our computer lab
- Recreation time in our gymnasium, play ground and sports fields.
- Weekly visits to the Phelps Community Memorial Library
- Dance and fitness classes with our Fitness Coordinator
- Walking field trips to Phelps attractions such as the Historical Society
- And much, much more
