APPROVE THE SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES, THE SEPTEMBER 25, 2023 BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES AND THE OCTOBER 5, 2023 BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES: Councilman ___________, offered the following Resolution. RESOLVED that, the September 11, 2023 Regular Town Board Meeting minutes, the September 25, 2023 Budget Workshop minutes and the October 5, 2023 Budget Workshop minutes be approved as written. 8. MONTHLY The September 2023 Monthly Reports were submitted by the Standing Committees, Assessor,
REPORTS: Water Superintendent, Highway Superintendent, Town Clerk, Bookkeeper, Town Historian
and Zoning/Code Enforcement Officers for the Board’s Review.
9. DISCUSSION A) Upcoming Shred Day: The Town will host a Shred Day event on Friday, October
WITH THE 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 NOON in the back parking lot behind the Town
SUPERVISOR: Hall, off Church Street. This event is open to Town and Village residents only.
B) Solar Eclipse in 2024: The upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, is the last
great opportunity for large segments of our country to experience a total solar eclipse
until 2045. More information will be provided as the event draws nearer.
C) Cellular Phone Carrier Change: The Town is switching to AT&T Wireless for better
coverage and all employees with cell phones are required to come to the Town Hall
on Thursday, October 12, 2023 or Wednesday October 18, 2023 to change out their
devices. More details will be provided by Bookkeeper Middlebrook.
D) Master Battery Disconnect Switches: A yearly reminder for all highway employees to
use these switches to prevent fires in the highway garage.
E) Jennifer Price: The board wishes to thank Ms. Jennifer Price for donating her time
and photography services for our recent employee picture day. Her generosity is
truly appreciated.

15. NEXT TOWN The next Phelps Town Board Meeting will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at
BOARD the Phelps Town Court/Meeting Facility, 1331 St. Rt. 88, Phelps, NY at 7:00 PM. The
MEETING: details of the meeting will be posted on the Town website and Facebook page with a link
to attend virtually via the Zoom Video Communications platform prior to the meeting.
