Updated 2023 Ontario County Special Collection Event Calendar

Hello, please find an updated 2023 Special Collection Event Calendar here as well as attached for your use. We made the following changes:

We are now requiring pre-registration for our Confidential Paper Shredding events, including the event on October 6.
We have updated the hours for the August 26 Mattress Collection Event to 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Also, please remember:

There are programs for free and convenient collection of paint, stains, and primers and electronic waste through drop off locations located throughout the county and open year round. We are still accepting these materials at their dedicated collection events, but there is no need to wait. Click the links above for more information and a list of drop off locations.
We will be accepting VHS tapes, DVDs, and CDs for recycling at our electronic waste collection events this year.
