Norm is a graduate of Waterloo High School. He and his wife have lived in Phelps since 1972. He is the father of two, grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of five. Norm started working for the town highway department in February 1973 as a motor equipment operator, then as Phelps Highway Superintendent from 1982 to 2002. He was elected Town Supervisor January 2006 to present.
Norm has been actively involved in the family business, Teed’s Tree Service and serves at his church, Newark Assembly of God as a Royal Ranger Leader and church trustee.
